NOTICE OF CITY ELECTION

To the Registered Voters of Richmond, Texas:

Notice is hereby given that the polling place listed below will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., on May
11, 2013 for voting in a special election, to vote on :

PROPOSITION ONE:
"SHALL THE PROPOSED HOME RULE CHARTER FOR THE CITY OF RICHMOND, TEXAS, BE
ADOPTED?"

PROPOSITION TWO:
"IF VOTERS APPROVE A HOME RULE CHARTER, SHALL THE HOME CHARTER INCORPORATE
ZONING AUTHORITY?"

LOCATION(S) OF POLLING PLACES

City of Richmond – City Water Maintenance Facility, 110 N. 8th Street, Richmond, Texas
Fort Bend County – Pecan Grove Baptist Church, 1727 FM 359, Richmond, Texas

Early voting by personal appearance will be conducted each weekday at City Water Barn Facility, 110 N. 8th Street, Richmond, Texas between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. beginning on April 29, 2013 and ending on May 3, 2013. Saturday voting will be conducted between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. on May 4, 2013. Extended hours for early voting by personal appearance will be conducted at City Water Maintenance Facility on May 6th and May 7th, 2013 between the hours of 7:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. as required in the Texas Election Code.

Applications for ballot by mail shall be mailed to:
